Lola is an Aboriginal women from the La Perouse Aboriginal Community, located on the northern side of Botany Bay.
She is a devoted mother of 3 children and loves spending her spare time with her family and two granddaughters aged 7 and 4 years old.
Lola is the Aboriginal Health Worker of the Child & Family Health Team of South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, a position she has held for 20 years. Her passion is improving the health outcomes for Aboriginal families and children aged 0-5 years and to work on projects that can make a difference in engaging Aboriginal families to take care of their health and wellbeing as well as their family’s needs.

General SessionNedd Brockmann is a 24-year-old sparky from Central West NSW who is focused on changing the world one step at a time. Nedd is the fastest-ever Australian to run across the country, having completed the run from Perth to Bondi Beach in just over 46 days – an incredible effort averaging over 80km a day.
In this keynote session, Nedd will speak about his epic journey across Australia, from inception to realisation, including the amazing support he received and the trials and tribulations that featured in his 46-day run. He embarked on the run to try and raise money for homeless charity Mobilise, and the final total raised for the homeless was $2.6 million, with over $600k raised on the final day.
Throughout this presentation, Nedd will detail the unique toolkit of tips, tricks and strategies to inspire audiences to harness their own potential and tackle their own personal challenges, irrespective of how large or small. Nedd focuses on the need to just keep showing up, and speaks of the importance of intrinsic and extrinsic motivators, about evolving, adapting, finding resilience within, and how to be a better person as part of your purpose.
