Matthew Wragg’s ‘trainee-to-boardroom’ staffing journey began 22 years ago at Gattaca plc, where he specialised in recruiting software and hardware engineers. CEO since April 2022, he has been guiding the transformation of its purpose, mission and values through to go-to-market strategy and operations management. Under Wragg’s leadership, employee engagement has doubled, attrition has been halved and performance continues to improve, leading to the ‘Best Business Transformation Initiative’ award at the most recent Business Culture Awards, which recognise outstanding company culture. Looking ahead, Wragg plans to position Gattaca as the STEM partner of choice within the staffing solutions market.
