Amy Reed is the vice president of operational strategy at CHG Healthcare, a leader in healthcare staffing. She has more than two decades of experience in staffing and healthcare. The pandemic brought with it an influx in the need for many healthcare providers but specifically travel nurses. Amy worked strongly with CHG’s nursing division, RNnetwork, to develop technology platforms and portals that made it easier for healthcare facilities to get the nursing staff they required. Her role focused on finding ways to have technology address needs in demand that didn’t require hiring more internal staff and ensuring both internal and external customers were having positive experiences. Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in physiology, a master’s degree in healthcare administration, and a doctoral candidate in healthcare administration.
