Ross is one of the Australian recruitment industry’s most recognised and influential voices.

As an agency recruiter and leader for 14 years, Ross built a high-billing temp desk and led teams and divisions in London, Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne. For over two decades, Ross’s coaching practice has provided various services to the recruitment industry, predominantly coaching for owners and online recruitment skills and team leadership programs. Since 2007, Ross has posted nearly 900 articles on his popular weekly blog, which features forthright opinion pieces on recruitment, the recruitment industry, the labour market, leadership, and high performance. In 2022, the RCSA CEO, Charles Cameron, awarded Ross the CEO Outstanding Contribution award for “an  Individual who has donated their time and demonstrated outstanding dedication to the industry and our association.” Ross holds a Bachelor of Economics, a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming, and Esteemed Alumni status at Influential U. After his sister, Mary, died of breast cancer at age 44, Ross has dedicated himself to helping fund research into breast cancer prevention. Since 2012, he has raised over $140,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
