Netland has over 35 years of staffing industry experience starting on a sales desk with Sapphire Technologies in 1987. In 1994, Sapphire was acquired by Select (Holdings) Ltd., and again in 1999 by Vedior NV. In 2003, He was promoted to CEO of Vedior NA. Netland was appointed to the Board of Management of Vedior NV in April 2007, and joined the Executive Board of Randstad Holding NV as part of its acquisition of Vedior in 2008. Netland continued in his role as CEO of the North American business leading the successful acquisition of SFN group in 2011, and its integration with the Randstad NA business creating the 3rd largest employment services company in North America with revenues of $4.5 BN In 2012, Netland transitioned out of his role as CEO of Randstad USA and continued his work in the staffing industry, acting as a board member and advisor to Private Equity Firms and PE owned staffing companies. Throughout his career he has been involved in over 31 Staffing industry deals including 12 buy side transactions, and 8 Exit sales with Private Equity partners Netland received his BA in Economics with a Minor in Math from Bowdoin College in 1984
