Michelle initially trained as an accountant with Barclays and Cable & Wireless. She joined Michael Page as a junior consultant and over the next fifteen years progressed through to Managing Director of the Page Personnel brand. Attracted by the pace and faster decision-making of a smaller growing entrepreneurial enterprise, Michelle joined James Caan’s Hamilton Bradshaw investment vehicle in 2012. She was tasked with transforming a start-up digital recruitment brand into a market leader in its field. During her tenure as CEO, Gemini won numerous awards including a Top 10 place in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For. Michelle now uses her unusual blend of corporate and entrepreneurial experience to provide support and expertise in the non-exec world where she acts either as chair or board advisor to a number of diverse recruitment firms. She is married and has a young son. She enjoys socialising and plentiful spa visits.
