Suzie McInerney is the CEO of Six Degrees Executive, a market leading recruitment agency specialising in finding top talent for Senior and Executive positions across the B2B and B2C Sales & Marketing, Digital & E-Commerce, Retail and Healthcare industries.
With her exceptional track record with performance and her natural aptitude to leadership, Suzie was able to work her way up in Six Degrees Executive to become the Director of Victoria. It was during this time that Six Degrees saw exponential growth both with internal expansion and increasing the client base. Her passion for people and recruitment partnered with her focus on leadership, business strategy and innovation meant that Suzie was the ideal fit to become Six Degrees Executive’s first female appointed CEO, after taking the reins from co-founder Paul Hallam in February 2019. Suzie has brought a passion for diversity and inclusion to Six Degrees and is a passionate advocate for the rise of females holding leadership positions.

With International Women’s Day a few days following Engage Sydney, we wanted to take the time to celebrate the theme for 2020, #eachforequal and how we can advocate for women in the recruitment industry. Each one of us can play a significant role in creating a gender equal world, both through our line of work in helping to find meaningful careers for those we place, and within our organisations and in advocating for the next generation of female leaders. We can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, broaden perceptions, and improve situations for women and one of the ways we can do that is by fostering a culture of confidence in the workplace.
