Paul Staples is a senior partner within the firm’s Financial Advisory team and leads our TMT Corporate Finance franchise in the UK and EMEA. He focuses on advising major clients on investment strategy across the media and technology sector. He provides strategic advice at board level to the firm’s major corporate and private equity clients. Paul has over thirty years of experience within the TMT industry. Paul has extensive experience advising major international clients within the FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 on a wide range of public and private transactions. In addition to providing independent financial advice to clients at Board level, he has a deep knowledge of international debt and equity capital markets. Prior to re-joining Deloitte, Paul was head of European Media and Technology Investment Banking at Schroders and Citigroup. Most recently, he was Head of UK Corporate Finance and a member of the Management Committee at BNP Paribas Corporate Investment Banking. Paul is a Vice Chairman of the Princes Trust and Deputy Chairman of the American European Business Association.
